Show some loyalty or go home

So what now? Reading are doing quite well at the moment, and it’s only an hours drive away, so shall we all go and support them instead? Alternatively, we could totally give up on football and sit and watch snooker on television.

Harry Redknapp quite rightly pointed out that he’s dragged this club up from division one obscurity, and we are currently MID-TABLE. So we’ve lost two on the bounce and the performances haven’t been great, but the attitude of some so-called supporters is frankly disgusting. The expectations of the team are so high, that as soon as we lose a few games, fans see it fit to jeer our Championship winning team off the pitch. They call this loyalty? Now I may be way off the mark, but I can’t see the true fans who were there in the dark days of Rix, Claridge etc doing such a thing. Something that comes with Premiership football is glory hunters, and I would be inclined to think that it was these fans on Saturday who so arrogantly booed our boys off. This sort of behaviour makes me and other true fans sick, and the common football chant "where were you when we were s***e?" applies to all them all.
