1. Scott Twine (Milton Keynes Dons)

Scott Twine has been outstanding this season and he continued that into April.
The attacking midfielder scored against Shrewsbury and Sheffield Wednesday, before a brilliant four-goal game against Plymouth which secured the MK Dons a play-off berth.
He also claimed three assists to round off a brilliant month.
2. Nathan Broadhead (Sunderland)

The on-loan Everton striker played a big part in helping the Black Cats secure a play-off place in April with five goals.
He claimed vital strikes in the wins over Gillingham, Shrewsbury, Cambridge United and Morecambe.
3. Will Keane (Wigan Athletic)

Assists: 2
Will Keane enjoyed an excellent April as he finished as this season's top scorer in League One as Wigan claimed the title.
The Ireland international scored in the wins over Accrington and Lincoln, but arguably his biggest contribution of the month was a double in the final game of the season against Shrewsbury which secured the title.
4. Lee Gregory (Sheffield Wednesday)

Lee Gregory really showed his class in April with seven goals in seven games.
He scored in the wins over Wimbledon, MK Dons, Crewe and Portsmouth but the highlight of the month was undoubtedly his hat-trick at Fleetwood.
5. George Hirst (Portsmouth)

Assists: 1
April was by far George Hirst 's best month of the season with five goals for Portsmouth.
The son of former England star David really hit form in the wins over Rotherham, Lincoln and Wigan.
He will also enjoyed scoring at Sheffield Wednesday, where he started his career.
6. Sam Vokes (Wycombe Wanderers)

Goals: 4
Assists: 2
Veteran Wales international Sam Vokes showed his class with a big April as Wycombe claimed a play-off spot.
He scored crucial goals in the wins over Cambridge and Burton, and also in the draw at Gillingham.
