Birmingham game rearranged

Oh yes. Not content with already moving the match from the ungodly hour of three on a Saturday (April 16th) afternoon to half one on a Sunday (April 17th), Sky Sports have changed their mind. Instead there's a far more interesting FA Cup semi final on at that time so no doubt the thought of showing something else on Pay Per View and getting less viewers doesn't appeal. So they've moved it BACK to Saturday instead, and this time it's a quarter past five kick off. Why? Because they can, I presume.

Personally I can't see the thinking behind it. Birmingham vs Portsmouth is hardly the most exciting of fixtures as it is and is hardly going to detract viewers from the semi-final - other than fans of Birmingham or Portsmouth, who would probably rather just play the match than have the fixtures changed around on the basis of some cup competition going on a few miles away.

And of course - just to add to the fun - the Liverpool league game (originally scheduled for the Tuesday following the match) was moved to a Wednesday AFTER the game was moved to Sunday. So what happens to that one, do we reckon?

Oh well.
