Yakubu rejects Nigeria

Ayegbini Yakubu was previously called into the Nigeria squad for the African Nations Cup in January, but was sent home early after being accused of breaking a club curfew.

It seems unlikely that the Yak will play for Nigeria again, as a club spokesman stated his reason for declining the invite was that "Yakubu still feels he was harshly treated during the African Nations Cup."
