Wallace Contract Extended

Pompey have exercised the option to extend Jed Wallace's contract by another year.

The 19-year-old's deal was set to expire at the end of this season but he will now be contracted until July 2014.

Obviously this is great news as it keeps our hottest prospect at the club for a year longer (in theory, anyway) but it will be a test to see if the Trust board and the management can convince him to stay at Frattn Park for longer.

Speaking of the Trust, the board has now been officially announced and the profiles of the new men in charge can be found on the official website here.

Micah Hall, probably the most prolific blogger on exposing the truth of what happened at Portsmouth FC during the Gaydamak/Portpin years, has also been announced as Pompey's Engagement Manager.

Good luck to them all as they embark on rebuilding this famous football club.
