Pompey have been drawn away to Ipswich Town in the third round of the FA Cup.
Whilst it's not the most inspiring draw, Pompey fans will remember that the run to winning the trophy in 2008 began at Portman Road with a 1-0 win coming courtesy of David Nugent.
Pompey also met the Tractor Boys in Suffolk for a third round tie in 2006 which was also won 1-0 thanks to a single goal from Dario Silva.
This will be a tough tie against Mick McCarthy's men but Pompey will go there under no pressure and with nothing to lose so who knows? Perhaps Pompey can make it to the fourth round this season?
The tie is likely to be played on Saturday, January 9th given that it's very unlikely to receive any live TV coverage.
