The Portsmouth Fire Sale Page

Last updated : 11 August 2012 By Jim Bonner

With so many players likely to head out of the Fratton Park exit door during the summer, it might be difficult to keep track of who is going where or where another player may be rumoured to be headed.

So, this page is designed to keep track of the status of every Pompey player and will be updated regularly so you can keep up-to-date with the latest deals and rumours doing the rounds.

Total Reported Funds Raised: £1.5 million

Here's the latest (10th August):

Jamie Ashdown (RELEASED): Has signed for Leeds after being released by Pompey back in June.

Stephen Henderson (SOLD): Has completed his £600,000 move to West Ham after the East London club sealed promotion to the Premier League on Saturday. Pompey have a 15% sell-on clause for the 'keeper.

Joel Ward (SOLD): Has completed his £400,000 move to Crystal Palace.

Ricardo Rocha (RELEASED): The 34-year-old has not been offered a new deal by Portsmouth and is now free to play elsewhere.

Aaron Mokoena (GONE): Pompey have confirmed that "The Axe" has agreed to terminate his contract and has now signed for Bidvest Wits.

Jason Pearce (SOLD): Has tied up his £500,000 move to Leeds United.

Greg Halford (SOLD): Nottingham Forest has signed the versatile defender for a fee reported to be £200,000, which will pay the outstanding money owed to Wolves for the defender.

Tal Ben-Haim (GONE): A compensation package has been agreed and he is now a free agent.

Adam Webster: One player who I expect to see remain with Pompey for next season.

Sam Magri: Had been linked with a £400,000 move to West Bromwich Albion, but no other clubs have been linked recently.

Kelvin Etuhu (GONE): Has signed for Barnsley on a one-year-deal.

David Norris (GONE): Has signed for Leeds United on a free transfer after agreeing to terminate the remaining two years on his contract for no fee, but Pompey may receive up to £250,000 for him in the future.

Liam Lawrence (GONE): A deal was offered for the Pompey skipper to extend his contract on vastly reduced wages and he was ready to accept until Portpin withdrew the offer. A compromise deal has been reached and he is now a free agent.

Hayden Mullins (GONE): Has signed for Birmingham City on a free transfer on a two-year-deal.

Erik Huseklepp (GONE): SK Brann have signed the Norweigan on a four-and-a-half year deal for £1 million, although that money will be paid to Bari over 24 months as Pompey still owe the Italian club for the Norwegian.

Marko Futacs (GONE): Has signed for Leicester City after rejecting Pompey's offer. The club will receive some compensation for Futacs as he is under 24 and was offered a new deal.

Luke Varney (GONE): Leeds has confirmed that Varney has signed for them on a two-year-deal. The fee is a reported £300,000 but that money will go straight to Derby County who Pompey still owe for Varney.

Ashley Harris: Should get a chance to show us what he can do in League One and has been offered a new contract by Portsmouth.

Dave Kitson (GONE): Has agreed to walk away from Pompey, receiving the money he is owed over 24 months.

Benjani (RELEASED): His deal has expired and it won't be renewed after an unsuccessful second spell at Fratton Park. But he isn't joining Bidwest Wits along with Aaron Mokoena.

Kanu (GONE): Has walked out on his contract with a year remaining after his 14 day notice period expired. According to his agent, the Nigerian is sueing the club for £3 million in unpaid wages since 2006.
