The Opposition View: Exeter City

Last updated : 06 February 2014 By Jim Bonner

How satisfied are you with Exeter's season so far and how worried are you about relegation?

I'm not happy at all! Relegation is on the cards.

Are you happy that Paul Tisdale didn't leave your club when he was linked to the Portsmouth job?

No, I would rather he left now despite all he has done for the club. Our current form has been poor and his reign has become a bit stale after so long here.

What were your thoughts after the match at Fratton Park earlier in the season? Did you deserve a draw?

There was a cracking atmosphere (ed: a rarity these days!) and although it was a good game we were shambolic at times and didn't deserve a result.

Have you made any additions to your squad since that day that might impact the game on Saturday?

None at all, so it'll be a similar side to the one that lost at Fratton Park.

Last time you suggested that your lack of pace at the back was your biggest weakness. Has that changed in recent weeks?

Nope, if anything the defence are even slower now! Our inability to score has now also crept into our game so I suspect a low scoring game this weekend.

Given the likely conditions, are Exeter still going to try and play their passing game or will we see a more direct style of play?

Tisdale will stick to his guns and we'll still play the pretty football with no end product even if the weather is dreadful.

Given Pompey's form, how confident are you of getting a result this weekend?

No win since the turn of the year so, despite Pompey's loss to our near neighbours last week, not confident at all!

Predict the outcome of the game.

A 2-0 defeat for Exeter.
