Striker? Injured? Surely not

It never rains but it pours.

Popular striker Lomano LuaLua has been ruled out for up to three weeks after an operation on an ear infection, sustained after taking a knock on the head at Liverpool. One would presume damage to the ears would affect a person's sense of balance, although he went on to score in that game - but I thought there was something a bit wonky in his celebration. Honest.

Thankfully, Yakubu and Kamara are now fighting back to fitness, the former coming on as a substitute against Arsenal at the weekend. But with the Congo captain turning in a man of the match performance on Sunday and starting to find the back of the net again, it's a bitter pill to swallow with such a busy festive period ahead.
