“The thing with Steve, like everybody else in this financial climate, there are a number of players who can’t get their careers going.

Stone missed last weekend's 3-0 victory over Stoke with a hamstring injury but it is not serious and he should be available for Pompey's trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
