Luca Scapuzzi has returned to Manchester City having made just two brief substitute appearances for Portsmouth.
The 21-year-old was a regular bench warmer for Pompey and when players such as Ashley Harris are getting more game time ahead of him, you knew he wasn't in Michael Appleton's plans for the rest of the season.
The same couldn't be said for his team mate Karim Rekik, who was superb on Tuesday and seems to be growing as a player. Whatever happens at the end of the season, I'd be happy to see him back at Fratton Park next season.
