Redknapp Denies Unsettling Defoe

Defoe has said that he would like to leave Pompey and Spurs are said to have made a bid for their former international striker, which has allegedly been rejected by the Pompey board.

"The chairman has dealt with it," Redknapp has said.

"He has gone in there and made an offer.

"I have not gone in for any other players at Portsmouth. I have not made any enquiries there.

"If they don't want to sell him they don't have to."
