With the crucial Southampton game looming, Harry Redknapp is ready to place last year's player of the season back into the mix. Redknapp told the Southern Daily Echo: "Linvoy deserves a chance and he's coming back.
"It's time to give him a go - let's see what he can do at Southampton."
Redknapp has recieved criticism for leaving the defender languishing in the reserves thus far this season - if Linvoy inspires Pompey to victory at St Marys, then who knows? Maybe we'll even see Marc Burchill again!
