Pompey are linked with Nigeria international Taribo West.

The thirty year old fullback has been released by Serbia-Montenegro side Partizan Belgrade, and Harry Redknapp, who had previously shown interest in the defender last season, is set to swoop.

West has previous Premiership experience with Derby County in 2001.
