Portsmouth game picked for Sky broadcast.

Just because Portsmouth are in League One, it doesn't mean to say that the team won't be televised every now and again as Sky will be showing the first ever competitive match against Crawley Town on TV.

The trip to Broadfield Stadium was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 8th but has now been moved back a day to be played on Sunday, September 9th with a kick-off time of 3:30pm.

The commentators are sure to have their lines planned already. We should run a sweepstake on how long it takes for them to say "Three years ago Pompey were in the Premier League and their opponents were in the Conference."

Sean O'Driscoll's men have been tipped to do well this season with plenty of financial backing from the chairman, in stark contrast to Pompey. Of course, this game still may not even go ahead if the wage bill can't be reduced in time.
