Pompey Summer Transfer Tracker 2011

The transfer window is now closed, but this page will give you a list of confirmed ins and outs over what was a busy summer for Steve Cotterill and may get busier still when the emergency loan window opens.

Confirmed Ins

Jed Wallace: The 17-year-old has signed a two-year professional contract from Lewes.

Marko Futacs: The 21-year-old Hungarian has signed a one-year deal with Pompey from Werder Bremen with the option of a further year.

Erik Huseklepp: The 26-year-old Norwegian winger/striker has signed a three-year-deal with Pompey paying Bari a reported £1.5 million.

Benjani Mwaruwari: The 33-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Pompey after surprisingly being announced as a new signing before the Brighton game.

Greg Halford: Has signed a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Luke Varney: Has signed from Derby for an undisclosed fee reported to be £750,000 on a three-year-deal.

Jason Pearce: Pompey have confirmed that the 23-year-old Bournemouth defender has signed a three-year-contract. The local media suggest that £300,000 was paid for his services.

David Norris: Has signed on a free transfer from Ipswich Town on a three-year-deal as officially confirmed by Pompey.

Stephen Henderson: The 23-year-old goalkeeper has signed a three-year-deal with Pompey after compensation with Bristol City was agreed because the player is under 24.

Hermann Hreidarsson: The Iceman has signed another one-year deal.

Confirmed Outs

David Nugent: Has officially signed for Leicester on a three-year-deal.

Nadir Ciftci: Refused a new contract and has officially joined Turkish side Kayserispor with Pompey reportedly paid €100,000 as compensation due to the player being under 21-years-old.

Christian Dailly: Has moved on after his one-month-deal expired.

Darryl Flahavan: Wasn't offered a new contract at Pompey and has now signed for Bournemouth on a one-year deal.

Michael Brown: Has signed a one-year-deal with Leeds United after his contract expired at Portsmouth.

Richard Hughes: Out of contract and is yet to be picked up by any other club.

Danny Webber: Out of contract and Steve Cotterill confirmed he would not be offered a new deal. He was training with QPR but is now a free agent.

Loan Returns

Jonathan Hogg: Has signed for Watford permanently.

Ritchie De Laet: Returned to Manchester United but won't be coming back to Pompey as he has been loaned to Norwich for the upcoming season.

Ibrahima Sonko: After training with Pompey and Reading, he finally signed for Ipswich.

Carl Dickinson: Has signed for Watford.

David Cotterill: Has returned to Swansea and probably won't come back to the south coast after his performances faded following a bright start.
