Pompey in coach terror

As Portsmouth's coach left Goodison around 6pm, two youths ran from a nearby pub and threw a brick at the side window.

Players escaped injury as the coach was fitted with reinforced windows.

An Everton spokesman said: "It would appear this was an act of mindless vandalism. We don't believe it was an attack on the Portsmouth team by any of our fans".
