Portsmouth will host non-league side Macclesfield Town in the first round of the FA Cup.
The Silkmen are currently 13th in the National League and the match could see Gareth Evans play against his former club. Richie Barker was also on the Cheshire side's books in his playing days.
Pompey's home form may not be great but they will still be expected to dispose of John Askey's team at Fratton Park even though they haven't won an FA Cup game since the 2010 semi-final triumph over Tottenham.
The tie will be played between the 6th and 9th of November, depending on whether it will be selected for some form of television coverage.
