Portsmouth have announced a deal to develop a new training ground facility at the Roko Health Club on Copnor Road.
The club will provide significant funding to create two state-of-the-art football pitches whilst refurbishing the football changing rooms as well as installing offices for the football club department staff.
Work on the site, built on land leased by Pompey for a period of 30 years, began in April and is expected to be finished by the end of the summer. The playing staff will continue to use the University of Portsmouth's facilities until the work is complete.
