Players Not Paid Again

Portsmouth FC have confirmed that the majority of the playing staff have not been paid for November, although a portion of the wages will be paid tomorrow.

A club statement said: "Portsmouth FC can confirm that the majority of the first team squad have not yet received their November salaries. A proportion of their wages will be paid tomorrow (Friday) with the club's new owners working towards paying the remainder over the next few days."

This is an absolute farce and this latest announcement simply means Pompey are in even more trouble than we thought. Where is Al-Fahim's supposed £50 million that he was going to invest into the club? What is Ali Al-Faraj doing at the club if he can't even pay the wages!?

Mark Jacob stated recently that things were sorting themselves out but they quite clearly aren't. I dread to think just how deep the problems are and if we will have to sell again in January just to keep the club afloat.

I'm seriously worried that Pompey will go into administration or worse. Peter Storrie needs to come out publicly, tell the truth and reveal to us all just how bad the situation is because we're all fed up with this constant bad news.

We've had enough of the lies and the rhetoric, we're sick of the false promises from the board and worst of all we're all angry that we can't see a light at the end of the tunnel as our club slowly dies because the board couldn't even run a tap, let alone a football club.

I'm sure that the Pompey fans will make their feelings clear on Saturday and there will be protests to make our feelings clear to the people responsible for getting us into this mess.

I just wonder how many Saturday's we'll have left of going to Fratton Park before Portsmouth FC no longer exists.
