Pericard desperate for action

Even with Todorov out for most of the season, Pericard has found himself on the fringes of Harry's plans as Yakubu and Sheringham have formed a fine partnership in the early stages of the season.
"It is frustrating; I didn't expect it to be so hard to get to play in the Premiership" said Pericard.

"In my career so far I've never been a substitute or been not playing. It is something new for me and I don't know how to deal with it".

Pericard is also below Jason Roberts in the pecking order as the West Brom forward has made an impressive start to his Pompey career.
