O'Neil struggling for Cup distraction

Saturday's clash against Leyton Orient could finally see frenchman Courville make a start for Pompey - unfortuantly the game will come too early for Shaun Derry and Gary O'Neil - Fratton Faithful understands that Rory Allen is still a few games away from first team contention.

Rix, an FA cup winner in his time, is looking forward to the distraction of the cup and sees it as the perfect way to kickstart Pompey's season. A convincing win would see Pompey regain their confidence and offer the club a chance of glory.

Rix also sees the game as a chance for Yoshi to regain the confidence of Pompey fans. The manager said that the Japanese number 1 has been training very well this week, he's a 'qualtity' keeper who desperately wants to win back favour from the fans.
