The Scummers haven't had much to cheer about recently. Their play off push is flailing after a home defeat to the mighty Colchester United and now once again they are proving to be a laughing stock off the pitch as well as on it.
Earlier this week Southampton FC unveiled a statue of club legend Ted Bates that was sculpted by supposed lifelong Stains fan Ian Brennan. You might have thought he was a season ticket holder in the Fratton End after looking at the result!
The statue looks more like someone who is liked by the Blue part of Hampshire and who owns a certain Midlands club now. The worst part is that the body is all out of proportion with the legs far too small and the arms far too big. An abomination it may be, but it's utterly hilarious sight for all Pompey fans!
So Ladies and Gentleman... I give you... Mini Mandaric!
