McAllister Deal Off

Gary McAliister will not be Pompey's new assistant manager after a deal could not be agreed between the two parties.

Paul Hart has been on the lookout for a new assistant since Brian Kidd left Fratton Park and it seemed the former Coventry and Leeds manager will replace him, but that is now not the case.

McAllister had been tipped to become snub Scotland boss George Burley for Pompey but for some unknown reason as of yet, the deal fell through, leaving Paul Hart and some Pompey fans disappointed.
