Chris Maguire has extended his loan stay with Portsmouth and will now remain with Pompey until the end of the season.
The terms of his loan agreement means that he cannot play against his parent club when Derby County come to Fratton Park on April 21st but the impressive Scot will be available for the remaining five games of the season.
Obviously, this is good news given how impressive Chris has been since coming to Fratton Park. Michael Appleton clearly has an eye for young players with a hunger to play and I would go as far to say that Maguire has been his best loan signing so far.
Hopefully I won't live to regret those words and he can bang in one or two against our neighbours on Saturday.
