Lomana Lua-Lua wants to stay and help Portsmouth in their relegation fight.

The Congo forward may return to Newcastle, the club who hold his registration, before the end of the season, by Lua-Lua insists he is happy at Fratton Park, and attributes this to his partnership with fellow striker Yakubu Ayegbini.

"The Yak and I are good friends and that is paying off when we play together," said Lua-Lua "Being happy off the pitch means I'm enjoying it more on the pitch."
