Kranjcar Qualifies

One current Pompey player is guaranteed to make an appearance at Euro 2008 as Niko Kranjcar booked his place to Austria and Swtizerland with Croatia despite a 2-0 loss in Macedonia.

Despite that defeat, Israel's stoppage time winner against Russia meant that Guus Hiddink's side can't catch Croatia which means that not only is England's fate back in their own hands, but they can still top the group!

A draw at Wembley will be enough to see us through whilst a win by 2 goals or more will see us finish top, despite being woeful at times during this campaign.

Sol Campbell played in the 1-0 win in Austria on Friday night and will probably play against Croatia and Kranjcar on Wednesday.

Papa Bouba Diop played in a 3-2 win over Mali in Paris, whilst Sulley Muntari is playing for Ghana in a mini-tournament this weekend.
