Kamara crocked and Berger buggered

Unfortunately, it wasn't all positives to come out of yesterday's victory over Manchester United, as two important team members picked up knocks and had to be substituted.

On a lesser scale, Patrik Berger picked up a "groin niggle" and it seems he may have been taken off more as a precaution to save inflicting long-term damage, rather than due to any grave concerns.

Diomansy Kamara however was withdrawn from the action after only half an hour following a strong tackle by Paul Scholes, seemingly with a knee injury. Post-match, Harry was not confident. "We don't know how bad they are yet but Kamara does not look too clever", said the Pompey boss.

We can only pray the comment was in reference to his intellegence, rather than his ligaments.
