James and Campbell Retain England Places

David James and Sol Campbell have both been called up to the England squad for the crucial Euro 2008 qualifiers against Israel and Russia.

Jamo will be hoping to make the England #1 shirt his own after Paul Robinson's major blunder against Germany whilst Sol Campbell's outstanding performance against Chelsea last Saturday should see him come into the team if either Rio Ferdinand or John Terry become unavailable.

The two most important games of Steve McClaren's reign as England boss come on Saturday 8th of September when England take on Israel at Wembley (5pm kick off) and then the following Wednesday when Guus Hiddink's Russia come to Wembley.

So there could be a chance the there'll be two Pompey players in England shirts on the pitch come Saturday the 8th. When was the last time that happened!?
