Danny Hollands has signed for Pompey on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old is mainly known for his spell at Bournemouth where he scored 24 times in 193 games. He has an eye for goal but he will provide some much needed energy in Pompey's midfield and should be able to pass the ball forward too!
With Toumani Diagouraga being recalled by Brentford, this is a good move by Andy Awford and whoever else was involved in bringing him in. He's too good for League Two, in truth, so hopefully he'll make an immediate impact at Newport on Saturday.
