High Court Hearing Adjourned Yet Again

Last updated : 13 February 2013 By Jim Bonner

The High Court hearing to set a date for the valuation of Fratton Park hearing has been adjourned once again.

The reason for this is reported to be an issue with the Professional Footballers' Association and PKF, with Keith Harris' bid throwing a spanner in the works as it offered the PFA, as creditors, a slightly better deal than the Trust's offer and that they would be paid more promptly.

But given that the Football League have said that they will only accept the Trust bid and Trevor Birch stating yesterday that he is ready to proceed with the bid, the parties have been given an extra week to resolve these issues.

The hearing will now take place on Thursday, February 21st.
