Hermann Signs New Deal

Hermann Hreidarsson has signed a deal that will keep him at Portsmouth until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old hasn't played for Pompey since rupturing his Achilles at White Hart Lane in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham last March, but he has completed his rehab and has trained with the club since then.

Hermann should be on the bench for tomorrow's match against Hull and I think he will be good for us for one more season at Championship level, though I expect his lack of pace means he'll be a substitute more often than not but at least Dickinson has some competition now.

Welcome back, Hermannator!
