Harry Leads England To Victory

Harry Redknapp claimed another Wembley win as his England side defeated Kenny Dalgliesh's Rest Of The World team 4-3.

'Arry put his trust in Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham up front and it worked as Sheringham put the Three Lions ahead but that was cancelled out by another player who played under Redknapp in Paolo Di Canio.

Giles Marini curled in a pearler past David Seaman to give the Rest Of The World the lead but England equalised before the break after Alan Shearer scored from the spot.

Di Canio put the ROW ahead again straight after the break but Shearer equalised with a trademark header and it was Jonathan Wilkes who was credited with the winning goal.

All in all it was an entertaining game played for a good cause and the celebrities did themselves justice against former pros. Perhaps this side should play against Croatia instead of the "proper" England team - so long as they don't pinch the manager too!
