Harry and Jim resign

A truly topsy-turvy day in our history has come to the worst possible conclusion.

This morning, rumours started that Milan was interested in buying Greek club PAOK. An intriguing start, not to mention confusing. Soon, the media began reporting that Jim Smith was set to resign from his position, although soon it became clear there was something far greater happening - talks of uncertainty surrounding Harry's position.

And alas, it is so. Mr Redknapp has resigned after a fantastic two and a half years at the helm. He says it's nothing to do with the arrival of Velimir Zajec, he wasn't forced out by Milan, and that he had been thinking it over for some time.

Zajec takes charge of the team for the game against Bolton at the weekend. Thanks for all you've done Harry - what next?!?!
