Stuart Gray has been confirmed as Pompey's new first-team coach, replacing Ian Woan who has gone to Watford.
Gray has signed a two-year-deal and joins after being let go by Eddie Howe at Burnley last season. Prior to that, Gray has had ill-fated spells as first-team manager at Southampton and Northampton Town.
He has also had backroom jobs at Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers before he linked up with the Clarets, where he had a spell as caretaker manager.
