Fully fit

There's three tricky games ahead, but we've been boosted by the news that the squad is now - long-term casualties accepted - fully free of injury and suspension.

In previous weeks things have got a bit light as Griffin and Stone suffered hamstring injuries, LuaLua faced a four match ban after being sent off for violent conduct, De Zeeuw and Primus suffered from flu and Rodic picked up a training ground knock. Now, Zajec and Jordan will be delighted that they have a full compliment of players to choose from with only Todorov and Pericard unavailable due to knee ligament damage.

There are still two problems however - one good, and one bad. On the plus side a choice will have to be made to pick two out of Yakubu, Kamara, LuaLua, Fuller and Rodic - admittedly only the Nigerian has really scored many goals this season but he's hardly in the best of form lately and it'll be interesting to see who makes the cut for the weekend. Either way, a nice problem to have. However, the real serious business starts in defence with Stefanovic, De Zeeuw and Primus the only centre backs available to last us through the season. Velimir has said he will never play all three again in the same team until the end of the campaign and, although a Taylor-De Zeeuw-Stefanovic-Griffin back line should be ok, there's still slight fears should an injury or suspension kick up - as one undoubtedly will.

Options to be pondered before the weekend, at least. To be honest it's just nice to have a game to be looking forward to in the first place.
