Part 2 of the Fratton Faithful Awards gives you the results for the categories based on our season. Here are the winners:

Pompey Moment of the Season

The 2006/2007 may not have had moments that felt like promotion, thrashing your arch rivals or surviving relegation against all the odds but there were still a fair few moments to celebrate such as beating United (again), thrashing Boro on their own ground, another Mendes spectacular against City, Taylor's strike against Everton, the Baptista penalty save, singing Alan Ball's name during the Liverpool game, celebrating our highest finish in over 50 years and one of you even put the whole season as the "moment of the season". Still, one moment beat all of them....

WINNER: GOING 2-0 UP AT THE EMIRATES STADIUM

1-0 was hard to believe but when Taylor doubled the lead just after half time the away end at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium just went into complete delirium as it looked like we were going to be the first team to defeat the Gunners in their new stadium. Going to Arsenal and taking a 2-0 lead is something you just don't do and this moment made sure that any Pompey fan who was lucky enough to visit the Emirates for the first time will never forget it.

Worst Pompey Moment of the Season

Like the last award, you'll find no derby day defeats, 5-0 thrashings against relegation rivals and media circuses as you have 3 different managers a season here but Pompey fans still managed to pick a fair few bad moments during the season. We'll be wanting forget dire defeats to Charlton, Wigan and Blackburn as soon as possible. Other bad moments you highlighted included gifting UEFA Cup rivals Spurs an equaliser at home, losing the 2 goal lead at Arsenal, Toddy going to Wigan on loan, Poll ruling out Kranjcar's "goal" and Ben Thatcher's assault on Pedro Mendes. Putting things into perspective none of these things can come close to losing Alan Ball, but the winner of this award is a moment that even Bally wouldn't have enjoyed.

WINNER: WATFORD 4 POMPEY 2

Perhaps the saddest thing about this result is that we all saw it coming or at least half expected it. Having put all that effort into beating soon-to-be Champions Man United two days previously a defeat to one of the worst and ugliest sides in Premier League history was seemingly inevitable. For them to score 4 past us made this result beyond embarrassing...

Performance of the Season

There were only a few games were deemed worthy of this award according to you guys. The home victories against Blackburn and Reading were acknowledged but it was a two horse race between the 4-0 demolition of Middlesbrough on their own turf and the eventual winner...

WINNER: POMPEY 2 MANCHESTER UNITED 1

Every player in a Royal Blue shirt gave 110% to make sure that once again Sir Alex Ferguson went home even more red-faced than usual. James pulled off some superb saves, Linvoy produced a couple of excellent saving tackles on Rooney whilst we always looked dangerous going forward. This was arguably our best performance in our Premiership history to date.

Worst Performance of the Season

Unsurprisingly, most of the nominees for this award came away from home with only the Charlton defeat being named as the worst performance all season at home. Away games at Villa, Wigan, Blackburn and Newcastle all recieved some votes but no prizes for guessing what performance "earnt" this award...

WINNER: WATFORD 4 POMPEY 2

And it all looked so good when Taylor had put us a goal up too...

Most Exciting Game

Just a few nominees for this award. One criticism of this season is that it hasn't been as good to watch as last season due to many teams trying to stifle us at Fratton Park and us trying to do the same thing away from home. Therefore the only games that were nominated were the 2-0 win against Everton, the 2-2 draw at Arsenal and the 2-1 win against United.

WINNER: POMPEY 2 MANCHESTER UNITED 1

This game had everything. Star names on show, a top notch atmosphere, an early goal, some great shots and saves, a hilarious own goal and a heart-in-mouth moment in stoppage time. More of the same in our next home game please!

Most Boring Game

There were a few snorefests during the season, again mainly away from home with the only home insomnia cures coming from the visits of Bolton, Chelsea and notably Middlesbrough. Those fans who travelled to Villa Park, the JJB Stadium, the Madejski Stadium and Anfield might have fallen asleep and even our most recent away win at Upton Park got a mention! There can only be one winner though...

WINNER: POMPEY 0 MIDDLESBROUGH 0

No doubt the kids who had School the following day struggled to stay awake during this evening game, mainly due to the fact that Boro played a 5-5-0 formation for much of the game and Jonathan Woodgate just would not let anyone or anything past him. I find myself yawning just typing this out... so try not to fall asleep when reading it!

The "Leon Best" Award for Comedy Moment of the Season

There are always some laughs when following Pompey, well you often have to have a sense of humour to support the team through the tough times. There were quite a few comedy moments nominated for this award such as the stupidity of the first goal we conceded against Tottenham away, Watford fans going ironically mental at Fratton Park for our "timewasting" having taken the lead, Linvoy scoring identical headers at West Ham, the manner how Gary O'Neil got his only goal of the season at Bramall Lane and the chants towards Graham Poll after he disallowed Kranjcar's goal.

There were a few moments that stand out though. Who couldn't help laughing at Scummers after Inigo Idiakez blasted their promotion hopes over the bar at Pride Park? Rio Ferdinand's own goal was the most comical since Tony Popovic's backheel and after the United game Harry Redknapp wasn't too chuffed with being interviewed second despite winning the game and that blooper can be seen by clicking here (Warning: Naughty Language!) The winner, however, was something you would never tire of seeing.

WINNER: SEAN DAVIS' "DIVE"

The New Year's Day clash with Tottenham was a pretty dull affair but will be remembered for one incident when Sean Davis was trying to win the ball from Lee Young-Pyo. Lee went down easily (a Spurs player diving? Well I never...) and the ref has blown for a free kick. Davis can't believe his eyes and decides to show the ref what a real dive is like.
