Foxe struggling to be fit for Bolton game

Hayden Foxe missed the weekend game at Manchester City with a thigh injury suffered on international duty a week ago, and reports suggest that he yet miss the showdown with Bolton.

However, Kevin Harper and Linvoy Primus have both recovered from injury and both - especially Primus - will be eager to convince Harry to give them their baptism against the Lancashire side.

Meanwhile Tim Sherwood's ear infection has not yet cleared up and he remains sidelined.

Bolton Wanderers have had a disapointing start to the season, a last minute equalising goal by Blackburn's Dwight Yorke dumping Bolton in the drop zone early on. With a game at Wolves - who have been little more than cannon fodder in their first two games of the season - it seems like a good week for Portsmouth to declare their intentions of a top ten finish. Or, we might find out if we have a relegation battle on our hands. Certainly, things will be a little clearer come 10pm tonight.
