Whilst we already know that our opening game will be the Community Shield clash against Manchester United at Wembley, it will be interesting to see who our first league game will be against.
I have a feeling we will be making a long trek to the North East for the first match of another long and hard slog through a Premier League season. Of course, I am hoping for a home game against one of the promoted sides or a team that finished in the bottom half but I'd be just as happy for a game away to one of the big four sides as it will get it out of the way early.
In fact I'd be quite happy to take anyone bar an away trip to one of the promoted sides as they always raise their game when playing at home in the Premier League for the first time as we found out against Derby last year.
Apart from that, bring 'em on!
