Duffy hasn't been able to break into the first team this season with Glen Johnson in excellent form and Noe Pamarot obviously preferred by Harry Redknapp. The Welsh international right back was initially set to join John Gregory at QPR but it now looks like Coventry have won the race of numerous Championship clubs to loan the 21-year-old.
It would make sense for Duffy to join Coventry as he was there for a lot of last season under Micky Adams and Adams has previously stated his desire to sign him on a permanent basis during his time at the Ricoh Arena. The Coventry manager told the clubs official website that he expects the deal to be done soon.
