With no fixture last weekend, Pompey boss Harry Redknapp took time out to run the rule over Croatian keeper Stipe Pletikosa again.

Redknapp was in the stands for Croatia's Euro 2004 win against Belgium on Saturday although the 24-year-old keeper was hardly tested in a comfortable 4-0 victory.

"Harry watched Pletikosa but Croatia played so well he didn't have anything to do, so it was hard for Harry to make any conclusions," said Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric.

"What we are doing now is to see as many players as possible, so when the time comes to make a decision, we are ready to go after them for next season.

"But we are not going to ignore the lads who have done such a brilliant job here this season."
