Burton on his way back

Burton, who started his career at Fratton Park eight years ago, spent a month's loan at Pompey at the start of the season but was forced to go back to Pride Park after breaking a bone in his right foot at the end of his loan spell.

Pompey chairman Peter Storrie told the club's official website: "Deon has been a target and we are delighted to have him coming back".

"Harry wanted to strengthen our strikeforce and Deon will do that significantly."
