Burnley vs Pompey Preview

Last updated : 25 September 2007 By Jim Bonner
Seeing as I, like many, will be following this game via the radio, I've decided to try an experiment for tonight's Carling Cup clash at Burnley.

For those of you who can't access any audio commentary for the game or simply want an alternative to the robotic BBC text commentary service, I will attempt to provide a live text commentary service for the game tonight.

Come to this page at around about 7pm tonight for all the latest updates and we'll see what happens.

Harry has hinted that he might play a completely different eleven from the starters that did the job at Burnley's most hated rivals on Sunday. That means Linvoy Primus could start his first competitive game this season whilst David Nugent should get another chance to show Harry what he can do.

The Clarets are likely to miss Chris McCann and Alan Mahon through injury but last season's top scorer; Andy Gray should be fit to start. Former Pompey defender David Unsworth could end up facing his old club.
