AFC Bournemouth will visit Fratton Park for the second pre-season in a row to take on Pompey in a friendly fixture.
The game will take place on Saturday, July 22nd with a 3pm kick-off. Jermain Defoe could well make an appearance for the Cherries as he is due to leave Sunderland for a return to the south coast soon. Asmir Begovic could also play against his former club.
The Premier League side are the only team that Portsmouth will play at home during pre-season with the rest of the fixtures away. The annual match at Westleigh Park has been brought forward to Saturday, July 8th whilst the trips to Salisbury and Bognor will now feature "Pompey XI" teams.

The fixtures for the 2017/2018 season will be released in two weeks' time on June 21st with the season beginning on Saturday, August 6th.
