Blackburn Competition

Fratton Faithful is giving two lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets for the Blackburn vs Pompey match on Sunday 23rd September!

To be in with a chance of winning the prize just answer the question below correctly and send the answer to me via the "EMail the Editor" link at the bottom of the main page. Fill out the form and place your answer in the "comments" box.

The question is this:

Pompey recorded their first ever away win in the Premiership at Ewood Park in 2004 with a 2-1 victory. But who were the scorers for Pompey that day?

The entrants that answer the question correctly will be placed in a prize draw and will be drawn randomly. The first two drawn will be the winners and the winners will be announced on Tuesday so make sure you get your entries in by midnight on Monday.

The winners of the competition will be contacted with more details as to how to collect their tickets at Ewood Park on Sunday.

For those of you who don't win, you can always buy the tickets yourself and Blackburn are one of the cheapest teams to watch in the league.

Using money from the new TV deal Blackburn have significantly reduced ticket prices for both home and away supporters. Match prices for Pompey fans are just £7 for junior tickets, £10 for seniors and £20 for adult tickets.

Supporters can purchase tickets by post, by phone or in person at the club's
ticket office in Rodney Road. For more information visit portsmouthfc.co.uk.
Tickets will be available on the day of the game for away supporters but buy
in advance to avoid queuing.

Remember, the game has been moved to Sunday because of Blackburn's UEFA Cup commitments.

Good luck to all entrants!
