Betis Friendly Cancelled

Pompey's friendly match with Real Betis has been cancelled after the plane that Pompey's squad was due to catch home had been damaged after a catering truck had collided with it, meaning the players and staff had to stay in North Carolina overnight.

The team won't be back in England until Sunday and therefore there was no choice but to postpone the match against the La Liga side.

Pompey are offering refunds for those who visit or phone the ticket office but the refunds can also be used to offset future ticket prices up to the home match with Peterborough on September 27th, which is the last day any refunds can be given.

Real Betis won't be without opposition tomorrow, however, as Havant & Waterlooville have arranged to play them at Westleigh Park instead. Ticket prices are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and the match will kick off at 6:30pm.
