Bentley Bought

Milan Mandaric today treated himself to a long overdue update from his tired old Mercedes by purchasing a nice new Bentley Arnage RL. Clocking in at a little under £200,000 and with 400bhp under the bonnet, our chairman will certainly have the "meanest wheels in the hood".

What were you expecting? An update of the possibility of David Bentley joining from Norwich? Well, since you asked, apparently ourselves and West Ham are both apparently in the chase with a rumoured fee of £1-2m. Personally I don't see what the fuss is about since he hardly set the world alight last season, got dropped for mucking about in training and has never got anywhere near the Arsenal first team, but there's no denying the fact he can play in a variety of positions makes him useful.

According to Perrin he's a target, and the Milan-Bot 2000 (the sole purpose of which is to confuse journalists) gave the typical "he's on the list" reply when questioned about the possibility of bringing in the ex-England U21 player. With everyone at the club hinting signings are on the horizon, the next couple of weeks should be interesting to say the least.
