Back In The Zone...

A late winner for Birmingham tonight has put in back in the bottom three by virtue of goal difference. The relegation battle looks like it's going right to the wire.

The whole thing is beginning to take its toll, I know I won't be able to think straight for three weeks now. This dogfight can still be settled before the final day should we win our next two games and the other two teams lose their next two games but can you see that happening? There's more twists and turns to come in this relegation battle I'm sure but the Sunderland game has just gone from "Big" to "Massive". A reminder of the last three fixtures for the teams:

Pompey

Sunderland (H)
Wigan (A)
Liverpool (H)

Birmingham

Everton (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bolton (A)

West Brom

Newcastle (A)
West Ham (H)
Everton (A)

One thing we shouldn't do is panic, we are the best side out of the three now and we arguably have the favourable fixture list. We could do with giving Sunderland a pasting though.

Ladies and Gentlemen... fasten your seatbelts!
